``Great book! The mindset portion of the book was really unexpected, and it has so many great nuggets that this is really a neat book for ANYONE even if not in music. 30 years of condensed and systematize wisdom on the main areas you need to be good at to get gigs and repeat. If you are in music industry for livelihood, a must read.``

``A must-have for the working musician. In this day and age where competition is so tough in the music industry, this is the bible for the working musician. I have been a musician all my life and thought I knew it all. This book is a real eye-opener and has given me the tools to ``up``: my game. I would not hesitate to recommend this book to any musician that is looking to increase his income and stay busy.``

``As a professional gigging musician myself, I asked myself - What can I learn from Rick Sanford's book? I purchased the book anyway and boy was I surprised. It is comprehensive. Not only does Rick cover the nuts & bolts from a musical perspective (Gig Prep, Gear, contract samples, prospect emails, wedding templates, etc.), but he also hits on the other items that are very important but often overlooked by musicians. Things like affirmations, elevator speeches, negotiating strategies, rig/gear recommendations, prospecting emails/phone calls, prospecting sources. His A Blast Cycle Of Awesome cleverly maps out the 10 modules that comprise the book. I would especially recommend this book to musicians /bands who are relatively new on the scene. I would also recommend it to veterans because, like me, you can learn something new too.``
